St. Louis Graduates High School to College Center
is a summer drop-in center that helps fight the “summer melt”: students who would otherwise attend college after high school, but are thwarted by paperwork, financial challenges or other obstacles.
Sister Thea Bowman Catholic school
is committed to deepening faith in Jesus Christ and providing a holistic learning approach to faith development and education within a Catholic framework for K-8 students in East St. Louis.
North Campus Partnership
provides year round programming for over 200 children who live within the campus boundaries (including Penrose and O’Fallon neighborhoods). The programming is aimed at providing 4 hours per day of additional academic and emotional support through after-school programming for students.
Our Priorities
At the heart of the foundation, we value efforts to advance equity, opportunity, & human dignity. These efforts often address the following topics, though Racial Equity is the overarching, all-encompassing priority for each organization or project we fund.
“Funding neighborhood work fosters systemic change by addressing the root causes of poverty and oppression. It fosters the confidence within individuals to dream while simultaneously creating access to the tools and resources needed to achieve those dreams.” — IWF Executive Summary, 2019
